Dear Mum,
This is your sentinel candle so that if at times you feel you can't get through to us you'll know we are always, always thinking of you and missing you. I still see your smile, I still hear your voice and laughter and I still feel the warmth of your kiss on my cheek. "Reaching out across the sea to put my arms around you", you used to say and I can feel them now.
